This focus of this site is to discuss how independent musicians and bands might promote themselves and their music more effectively. It’s my personal belief that a band should try to accomplish as much as possible themselves, before attempting to secure the assistance of business partners.
This is not a “get famous quick” site, this site is for bands who are willing to work hard, grow their fanbase, and develop a business around their art through talent, dedication, community-building, and interactivity.

About Me:
I do marketing and A&R for a major record label in Canada, where I am responsible for developing domestic acts and project-managing album releases by a roster of international musicians.
I have managed a couple of artists, worked for a few indie labels; been a producer, engineer and digital editor for some bands you might have heard of; and played guitar, bass, and drums in a few bands you definitely haven’t. More about my work history can be read on my Linkedin profile.
